Board of Directors · The mission

Every room,
Ella AI Nurse Assistant.

A caregiver's attention is the scarcest resource in senior living. We build the ambient intelligence mesh that lets one person's attention reach every room, so no resident falls, fades, or passes unnoticed.

01 / 04 · GATE: PILOT CATCHING EVENTS

It starts with one building

Twelve rooms at Mount Olivet. Thirty-six sensors on the ceiling. Falls caught in seconds, long-lies that used to last hours, breathing watched through the night. Proof, one resident at a time.

What we are doing right now
Gate 01 · Manufacturing

Production devices, built by EI Microcircuits

The pilot runs on dev kits. The thousand-resident rung runs on manufactured hardware: our dual-radar PCB built, tested, and shipped by EI Microcircuits. Everything on this page funnels into getting that line running.

  • Production PCB: dual-AoP radar, single board, fixed mount
  • Calibration at scale: per-device RF cal, no per-room technician
  • Fleet provisioning + OTA: 30-day site deployments
Gate 02 · The seed round

$3M seed · open

We are raising a $3M seed to get our device manufactured by EI Microcircuits and the first 1,000 residents on the platform, with room for $5M if an institutional lead joins. The ODAT grant funded the proof; the seed funds the climb, with margin for error this time.

How the board helps

Three steps, one pipeline
01

Send the intro

Ambient Intelligence puts a contactless AI nurse assistant (Ella) in every senior-living room: ceiling radar that catches falls in seconds and watches breathing through the night, with nothing worn and nothing pressed. Grant-funded pilot underway at a Minnesota care facility; raising a $3M seed to manufacture the device with EI Microcircuits and reach the first 1,000 residents. 03

Log it in the pipeline

Every intro goes in the investor CRM: stage, check size, next action. The monthly board review runs off this pipeline, ten names per director.

Values

How we decide
01

Dignity by default

Passive, contactless, nothing worn and nothing pressed. Residents are cared for, never surveilled. The technology disappears; the attention remains.

02

Prove it on the bench

No claim ships before it is measured. Falls caught on camera, vitals validated against ground truth, every gate verified before we say it works.

03

One mesh, every room

Think in fleets, not units. Every decision (hardware, firmware, cloud) is judged by whether it still works at a million residents.
